Love Street is a 5-piece prog rock band that was founded in April 2013.

Over the last 10 years, Love Street have achieved some incredible successes playing numerous UK and European festivals, including Boomtown Fair, Looe, Lechlade, OBOD Gathering, Sunflower Fest, and Elfia, which they headlined two years in a row. The band has worked in world-famous studios such as Peter Gabriel's Real World (considered by the band as their spiritual home), Sawmills in Cornwall, Metropolis in London, Sterling Sound in New York, and Red Tape in Sheffield. They are fortunate enough to work with internationally recognised and multi award winning producer George Shilling and the late and greatly missed internationally renowned brass arranger, Darrol Barry.

In August 2014 Love Street's first release, "Moving On", gained radio play on BBC regional stations and over 20 independent local stations across the U.K. and Ireland.

Following the success of their first release, Love Street released their second EP, "Susanna", in October 2014 featuring the Loxley Silver Band.

Love Street's first album "Both Sides of the Door" was released in 2016 to rave reviews and featured George Shilling on cello. The music video of the album's title track, "Wings of Yesterday" was premiered by online magazine Female First

Following the release of “Both Sides of the Door” the band embarked on an extensive touring schedule across the UK and Europe, playing their first gig in Turkey. In 2018, the band decided to take a break from the hard life of recording and touring to concentrate on writing the second album. During this period, Cat Leonard (violin), Chris Johnson (drums) and John Davies (guitar) decided to move onto other projects, leaving the original founders Andy Borders (bass) and Julian Clark (vocals and keyboards) to rethink the direction of the band.

After a try out with a new lineup, featuring April Anderson on flute, keyboards, and vocals and starting out with performances including Fantasy Forest Festival in the UK, the new Love Street was born! The new lineup features Paul Mearing on guitars, Kevin Cook on Drums, Hanna Heinonen on violin, along with founding members Andy Borders on bass and Julian Clark on vocals and keyboards. Joining us at times are guest performers April Anderson (additional vocals and vocal arrangements), Lester Osbourne (percussion), Saku Aulamo (harmonica), and John Telfer (saxaphone and flute),

Working once more with George Shilling, the band's second album, “The Alchemist's Daughter” was released in April 2024. This album took the band in a more prog rock direction, while still honouring our celtic and folk music roots. Sadly, the album was released just five days before the unfortunate passing of Love Street's lead singer, Julian Clark. It was Julian's dream to share his music with the world, and we are so grateful that he lived long enough to see “The Alchemist's Daughter” released into the world for everyone to enjoy.
