Hanna Heinonen

Musical Background:

Hanna started playing violin at the age of 7. Her father asked her which instrument she would like to play and she instantly replied “Violin”. Her father was the principal oboist in the Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra.

She originally studied music at the Tampere Conservatoire where she graduated as a violin instructor before training and qualifying as a music therapist. She has had an extensive music career playing with the band Escort Five, a covers band, before co-forming Lemuria (web site or face book page:  www.facebook.com/lemuriaorkesteri ), an original folk rock band. Six years after co forming Lemuria Hanna joined Greenrose Faire, where she played across Europe including main stage performances at Elfia www.elfia.com. It was during one of these appearances at Elfia that she first met Jules (vocals) and Andy (Bass).

Somehow despite a very heavy schedule she found the time to work and perform with another covers band (and originals!) S4KUA before joining Love Street in 2022. In addition she has worked as a session musician for a number of Finnish bands including Yö, Uniklubi, and Juutine.

When not working as a professional musician and therapist Hanna enjoys time with her family, travel, sauna and snowboarding.
